The Slim Rextron KVM Switches offer the most reliable and efficient way of managing multiple computers in server rooms where the space is at a premium. On Screen Display (OSD) features computer naming, computer selection, status indication, auto scan and much more. Up to 136 servers can be easily managed by cascading multiple KVM switches to expand the capacity. Revolutionized video enhancement technology ensures superb quality up to 1920 x 1440. The ¡§Video CAT5 Extender¡¨ pair enables you to transmit Video signals withthe resolution up to 1280 x 1024*, featuring common mode noise suppression circuit for superb VGA quality via inexpensive unshielded twisted pair CAT5 cables. The Local unit duplicates the input signal for local use and transmits the Video signal to a Remote unit. Upon receiving the VGA signal via a CAT5 connector, the Remote unit broadcasts the signal to two VGA outputs. A convenient Gain (equalization) control selector on the Remote unit is designed for optimum signal clarity according to the length of the CAT5 cable. Better yet, using the Repeater unit in between can transmit the VGA signal up to 250 meters away!
With the Remote Controller the user can achieve the
remote job with the range of 5 meters. Now you can
switch On / Off the video signals as you wish, for example
you may turn the monitor in the meeting room Off and
leave the monitors hung along the lobby On.
     
 
   
 

The KVM Extender consists of a Computer Unit and a Station Unit that is
suitable to locate one set of keyboard/monitor/mouse up to 150 meters away
from a computer or KVM switch using an inexpensive Category 5 UTP
(unshielded twisted pair) cable. It provides an ideal and convenient way to
remotely access the computer which is located in a secure, clean or dirty,
harsh environment.

The KVM Extender is designed to enable one computer to be controlled by
one or two users. Meanwhile, it is allowed for a console to control two
computers locally and remotely. They are perfect to be used in factory or
construction areas where you want to secure your computers and valuable
data or manage them either in remote or both in remote and local sites.


  
   
Video Compensation:
Using the hotkeys to adjust the video
compensation. The hotkeys are used
to adjust the Equalization on the
Remote Unit to get optimum video
signal for various cable lengths.
   The KVM Extender can be connected
to the KVM Switch in compliance with
the ¡§Cascade Configuration¡¨.
