FNKMU-M04K-10, Extension Distance: 10KM

KVM over Fibre Optic, FNKMU-M04K, consists of a Transmitter and a Receiver unit that allows you to extend 4K HDMI and USB 2.0 signals up to 10KM (32,800 feet) over SFP LC S-M Fiber Optic Cabling. The SFP module so called Small Form-factor Pluggable is a compact design used to provide cost-effective and instant connectivity. You can choose, replace or swap the SFP based on the application, cable type, required range, and the desired data transmission rate.
FNKMU-M04K Video scaling function allows user to select either native resolution or downscaling resolution for video presentation and ensures reliable video output regardless of the video input that are beneficial for the conference call, meeting room or show room application.
Unique Audio-Embedding & Bi-directional Audio Extension
Unique bidirectional audio extension function independently transmits 2-way audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, and vice versa. In the case of emergency situation, bidirectional audio transmission is beneficial for notifying users of the computer or server room operation issues making possible the remote communication and coordination.
USB extension function enables users to transmit USB signal thru Extender Unit. FNKMU-M04K, KVM over Fibre Optic, features USB 2.0 extension and USB peripherals sharing capability without any software or driver installation. Dedicated USB ports designed on the front and rear side of the extender unit are suitable for both long-term and temporary USB peripherals access.
Full-duplex data communication between Tx and Rx via fibre optic cable connection is the cost effective, hardware-based solution, providing remote access and control for all RS-232 protocol devices without any setup or configuration.

Bi-directional IR extension feature supports full frequency IR signal from 38KHz to 56KHz. Furthermore, the pigtail design of the external IR extension unit with 1.4m cable (purchased separately) increasing the distance between the emitter and receiver heads and the IR port on the extender unit gives users flexible and easier way in IR control system installation. That provides a unique strength which is often used in combination with home theater and system integration application.
