NVDAK-1242PM= NVDAK-1242P (PC/ Tx) + NVDAK-1242M (Console/ Rx)

Dual Head KVM Matrix Switcher, NVDAK-1242PM, consists of a Transmitter (Host) and Receiver (Console) unit that allow you to extend KVM signals over a network connection (LAN). The KVM matrix switching system provides independent audio, video, USB2.0 and IR routing. 4 USB ports (USB 2.0x1 + USB HIDx3) on the front and back of the receiver unit are suitable for both permanent and temporary USB peripheral connection, and 10 channels (IDs) on each of the DIP rotary switches are used for pairing.

Data Redundancy
Data backup and recovery of the matrix system is critical when it comes to device replacement or system expansion scenarios. The Rextron KVM Matrix Switch NVDAK data redundancy feature provides versatile information retrieval capabilities including Tx/Rx node deployment, Tx/Rx service routing, device name editing, EDID and channel setting, and hotkey programming.

Keypad-IN Function for Easy Port Switching
The latest KVM maneuvering feature, Keypad-IN function, is the most cost-effective and user friendly way to perform KVM Control via wired or wireless Keypad (or Keyboard). By simply plugging the low-cost, easy-to-acquire wireless keypad into the dedicated USB hub port of the dual head KVM matrix switcher, users can enjoy all the KVM control functions remotely. The Keypad (or Keyboard) control function includes video routing, video on/off setting, system scan and reboot, and EDID configuration.

EDID Management
The dual head KVM matrix switcher's EDID Copy and EDID Migration, which sends the EDID file from Rx to Tx, ensures uninterrupted video playback and eliminates black screen problems. There are three EDID configurations available, as follows
● Capture and store Rx EDID information and send to Tx
● Capture and store Rx EDID information and send to ALL active Tx
● Store System (EDID) information on specific Rx (Data Redundancy)

Two-way IR transmission
The bi-directional IR extension function supports full frequency IR signal range from 38KHz up to 56KHz. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 1.4 meters IR cable sold separately).

Power over Ethernet
The PoE feature provides greater flexibility in various installation scenarios where there is no available power outlet nearby. The PoE design is based on the IEEE 802.3 standard and includes Power Source Equipment (PSE) and Powered Device (PD) definitions that describe the detection and protection mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable power delivery.
