VKSCM-221, 4K 4 Ports Multi-Format Video Switch with PIP, PBP and Scaler, is an advanced Video Converter/ Mixer with Scaler and PIP&PBP functions. It allows users to quickly and easily share multiple sources and display the video contents to one output device (Monitor/ Projector).The HDMI/ DP and 3.5mm audio inputs bring in multiple audio/video feeds supporting audio embedding, audio de-embedding, and video mixing PIP/PBP screen layout that is beneficial for the content creators in video postproduction.
An integrated scaler ensures reliable 4K or 1080p output regardless of the video input. The auto EDID, PIP&PBP mixer, and scaler built-in allows users to simultaneously view two different streams on one screen with identical aspect ratio.
The switching can be simply achieved by button pressing, IR remote control, Serial control, and the unique user friendly OSD menu displaying input/output setting, PIP/PBP setting, and audio streaming and system configuration.
There’s an IR sensor window at the front panel designed with great aesthetic and efficiency to quickly and accurately control this unit. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 3 meters IR extension cable purchased separately). It is a unique feature often used in combination with home theater or the system integration application.
