Rextron EGBMU-M2210 is a high-performance True 4K HDMI 2.0 HDBaseT 2.0 KVM Extender over CAT.x with HDR, USB 2.0, RJ11 serial, 2-way Audio, 2-way IR, and PoH DC 48V supported, consisting of the Transmitter - EGBMU-2210L (PSE Unit) and the Receiver - EGBMU-2210R (PD Unit). It extends the signals of HDMI video, audio, USB 2.0 x 4, IR, RS-232 Serial and PoH up to 90 meters (295ft) at 4K 60Hz or 100 meters (328ft) at 1080P via a single category cable in a point-to-point configuration. Independent extension of speaker and microphone allows two-way communication, warning sound notification, and other extensive audio applications. The product supports most popular video resolutions up to 4K 60Hz (4:4:4) with HDCP 2.2 or 1.4 compliant.


HDBaseT 2.0 KVM Extender has the advanced visual lossless compression technology built-in, allowing users to alternatively select the best video output quality desired via a trade-off of the Slide Switch setting between the “Color” mode (default) and the “Frame Rate” mode on the Transmitter Side. This video reproduction process can generate a superb video output signal almost indistinguishable from the original input video without any sacrifice of the image quality.

HDBaseT 2.0 KVM Extender, EGBMU-M2210, Supports PoH (Power over HDBaseT) feature provides 48V from Transmitter (PSE) to Receiver (PD) allowing for greater flexibility in different installation scenarios where there is no available power socket at the site. The PoH design is based on the IEEE 802.3 standard and includes definitions of the power source equipment (PSE) and the powered device (PD) describing the detection and protection mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable power delivery.

HDBaseT 2.0 KVM Extender provides comprehensive EDID management to ensure that HDMI source is displayed at an optimal resolution and format without compatibility issues. Comprising a compact Transmitter and Receiver pair, it can be installed in minutes and requires no special programming.

Most of the latest Rextron HDMI 2.0 KVM Extender and Video Extender support HDCP 2.2 and is particularly backward-compatible with the previous version. That means you can connect older sources to a new 4K TV under HD streaming with no HDCP 2.x to 1.x converter in between. Dedicated USB 2.0 ports design on both front and rear panels are ideal for both long-term and temporary USB peripherals access, and allow users to attach or detach USB devices with ease. It complies with most of popular USB 2.0 and HID devices.

HDBaseT 2.0 KVM Extender, EGBMU-M2210, Supports Bi-Directional IR extension function supports full frequency range IR signals from 38KHz up to 56KHz. That provides a unique strength which is often used in combination with home theater and system integration applications.

HDMI 2.0 HDBaseT 2.0 KVM Extender with Bi-Directional audio extension function can independently transmit a 2-way audio signal from the transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, and vice versa. Except for HDMI audio, the separate audio channels provide a bi-directional audio transmission that is beneficial for the content creators in video postproduction, or in the case of emergency situations for notifying users of the computer or server room operation issues, making possible the two-way communication and coordination.
