The HDMI transmitter and receiver SHA1MU-M423 consists of an HDMI transmitter SHA1MU-M423 (USB host) and an HDMI receiver SHA1MU-423S (USB device). It extends the HDMI video and USB HID signals up to 35 meters at 4K@60 4:4:4 via a single category cable in a point-to-point configuration. 


Support USB HID Multi-Touch Function

4K@60 short-haul HDMI transmitter and receiver support USB HID multi-touch functions, enabling gestures such as button tapping, image zooming, and rotating your window contents, largely replacing single-touch functionality in modern devices. It is suitable for applications such as interactive whiteboards and digital kiosks in the education sector.


Support PoC and PD Function

The receiver unit can provide PD function to the USB-C port for tablet or smartphone charging, and the power supply is not required on the Rx side when the transmitter unit can draw sufficient power from the USB-C power. 


LED Indicator

The Multi-color LED indicators on the transmitter and receiver unit can display the Tx-Rx connection status, phantom power PoC status, and USB PD status in real time.

Special Design for HDCP Management

Exclusive HDCP slide switches on the rear panel allow users to select the 4 preset HDCP modes:

Mode-1: Auto mode allows HDCP 2.2 or HDCP 1.4 content pass-thru

Mode-2: NONE mode allows non-HDCP content to be played

Mode-3: This mode allows HDCP 1.4 content to be licensed

Mode-4: Allows HDCP 2.2 content to be licensed

The Rextron SHA1MU-M423 is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. It consists of a compact transmitter and receiver, requiring no software or driver installations, and can be set up in minutes. Rextron offers a range of USB HID and video extenders, with its HDMI/ DP/ USB-C series being interoperable. This means that an HDMI transmitter can be connected to a DP or USB-C receiver via a CAT6 cable, and vice versa.
