Dual DVI KVM Extender, FNXXDU-M23K, consists of a Console (device) and a Computer (host) unit that allows you to extend DVI/ audio/ USB 2.0/ IR/ RS-232 signals over LC S-M fibre optic cabling. It transmits 2x DVI video signals up to 70km (229,660ft) over OS2 single-mode fiber.

USB Hub: Plug and Play USB 2.0 peripheral sharing

The Rextron Dual DVI KVM Extender supports USB 2.0 expansion function. 4 USB-A ports on the front and rear sides of the Console unit (Rx) are suitable for both long-term and temporary connection of USB peripherals. The 4-ports USB hub (USB2.0+USB HID) supports most popular Windows, Mac, Chrome OS and Linux operating systems.

Audio over DVI with Unique Audio Embedding/ De-Embedding Function

FNXXDU-M23K supports audio function for "HDMI" / "Audio over DVI" source devices. Bi-directional audio extension function is activated and can independently transmit audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, and vice versa. Audio embedder function embeds audio signal from a 3.5-mm analogue stereo audio source to DVI signal and Audio de-embedder function extracts DVI audio to a 3.5mm stereo audio.

Two-way IR Transmission

The bi-directional IR extension function supports full frequency IR signal range from 38KHz up to 56KHz. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the extender unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 1.4 meters IR cable sold separately).

EDID Copy

EDID Copy and EDID Migration, which sends the EDID file from Rx to Tx, ensures uninterrupted video playback and eliminates black screen problems. The FNXXDU-M23K fiber optic KVM extender provides an EDID function to ensure that the video source is displayed in the optimum resolution and format without compatibility issues, and allows users to copy or learn EDIDs from the monitors by pressing the EDID button on the front panel of the Rx unit.
