DisplayPort Optical Extender, FVPS-M043, consists of a Transmitter (Host) and a Receiver (Device) unit that allows you to extend DP/ Audio/ IR/ RS-232 signals over SC M-M Fiber Optic Cabling. It transmits 4K DisplayPort video up to 1000 meters (3280 ft) through a single SC Duplex Multi-Mode fiber cable in a point to point configuration.This 4K DisplayPort Fiber Optic Extender supports most popular signal resolutions up to 4K 30Hz at (4:4:4) color sampling and is ideal for the most demanding applications.


Comprising a compact Transmitter and Receiver pair (models FVPS-043P & FVPS-043S respectively), the FVPS-M043 4K DisplayPort Optical Extender can be installed in minutes and requires no special programming. Using fiber optical cable provides a lot of advantages over traditional copper-based extension methods, involving thinner and lighter cables, immunity to RF and magnetic interference, and much longer extension distances up to 1KM. 2-Way Audio with Unique Audio Embedding/ De-Embedding Function

Bi-directional audio extension function is activated and can independently transmit 2-way audio signal from the 4K DisplayPort Optical Extender Transmitter unit to the 4K DisplayPort Optical Extender Receiver unit, and vice versa. Audio embedder/ extractor function can independently transmit the audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, embed audio from a 3.5-mm source to a DisplayPort signal or extract DisplayPort audio to a 3.5mm stereo audio, which provides the second audio transmission channel that would be beneficial for the content creator in video postproduction or audio broadcasting with the installation of home cinema amplifier.
