4K HDMI KVM Extender , EVBMU-M2210, consists of a Transmitter (Host) and a Receiver (Console) unit that allows you to extend HDMI/ Audio/ SPDIF/ USB 2.0/ IR/ Serial signals over CATx Cabling. It transmits uncompressed 4K HDMI video up to 70~90 meters and 1080p up to 100 meters through a single CAT6 cable.
EVBMU-M2210, 4K HDMI KVM Extender, supports USB 2.0 extension function. 4 USB 2.0 ports on the front and the rear side of the receiver unit (Rx) are suitable for both long-term and temporary USB peripherals connection.
The bi-directional IR extension function supports full frequency IR signal range from 38KHz up to 56KHz. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 3 meters IR cable can be purchased separately).
Full-duplex data communication between Tx and Rx via CAT.x cable connection is the cost effective, hardware-based solution, providing remote access and control for all RS-232 protocol devices without any setup or configuration. RS-232 serial extension is suitable to be applied in digital signage, industrial or commercial office, smart classroom, and smart Home system.
To provide an optical digital audio transmission solution, Rextron 4K HDMI KVM Extender is equipped with novel Toslink optical fiber connector used for sending a digital audio stream from the input of the Transmitter unit to the output of the Receiver unit. Toslink digital optical audio extension prevents the audio stream delivery from electric and magnetic interference and such optic connector supports most of the commonly seen studio audio equipments such as video game console, Blu-ray disk player, and AV receiver.
Power over HDBaseT ( PoH ) enables the transfer of DC power over a single Ethernet cable to a distance of up to 100 meters. Thus, single power supply at either end of the extender units, the PoH function is especially useful in the condition where there’s no available power socket at certain side. The PoH standard is based on the IEEE 802.3at standard and includes definitions of the power source equipment ( PSE ) and the powered device ( PD ) describing the detection and protection mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable power delivery.
