DVI KVM over IP Transmitter Unit, NVXDU-31LA2, allows you to extend DVI/ Audio/ USB/ IR/ Serial signals using a Gigabit Local Area Network (LAN). Matrix switching extension over IP provides independent Video, USB2.0, IR, RS-232 routing. 4 USB ports (USB 2.0x2 + USB HIDx2) on the front and the rear side of the receiver unit (Rx) and 2 USB-HID on the transmitter unit (Tx) are suitable for both long-term and temporary USB peripherals connection, 16 channels (ID) on the DIP rotary switch on both Tx and Rx unit are available for pairing, and up to 4 pairings of FHD VIDEO transmission can be activated simultaneously over Giga LAN. EDID Copy and EDID migration sending EDID file from Rx to Tx ensure uninterrupted video playback and fix the black-screening issues. Video Wall functions are available via Serial Port or Web GUI settings.

The bi-directional IR extension function supports full frequency IR signal range from 38KHz up to 56KHz. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 3 meters IR cable can be purchased separately).
Full-duplex data communication between Tx and Rx via Ethernet connection is the cost effective, hardware-based solution, providing remote access and control for all RS-232 protocol devices without any setup or configuration. RS-232 serial extension is suitable to be applied in digital signage, industrial or commercial office, smart classroom, and smart Home system.

Dedicated USB-HID ports designed on the Tx and Rx of the extender unit are suitable for both local and remote site USB peripherals access. Dual Console function allows two users (Local and Remote sides) to share one computer. The local console NVXDU-31LA2 enables users to access the computer directly, while the remote console NVXDU-31R allows users to remotely control the computer as if you were sitting right in front of it.
Under one-to-one transmission (Unicasting), bidirectional audio extension function is activated and can independently transmit 2-way audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, and vice versa.
