4-Port Mode on the Mutable HDMI KVM Switch
The 4-port KVM supports switching and operation of 4 PCs, and the two monitors connected to the KVM display the same desktop. Users can have identical monitor and resolution for video output setup or, with the video scaling function, install monitors with different resolutions and aspect ratios.
2-Port Mode on the Mutable HDMI KVM Switch
In short, the 4-port KVM's unique and unprecedented thread dispatching capabilities transform HDMI single-head connections into dual-head connections. This mutable nature allows the KVM to act as a 2-port dual-view switcher. Depending on the operating system configuration, the two monitors connected to the KVM can display either an extended desktop or a duplicated desktop.

Rextron QSDMM-3422 provides 1 auto + 63 EDID preset settings and supports monitors with 16:9 / 21:9 / 32:9 aspect ratios, and the unique EDID configuration technology supports unified and continuous video streaming, which ensures the optimized video output and prevents video flickering or black-screening issues when switching KVM Host Ports.
Unique Video Scaling Function
QSDMM-3422 provides 4-stage image scaler settings to select and ensure the image is output in native resolution, customized resolution, or a resolution limited to 4K/1440p/1080p. With the aid of Hotkey, it also provides support and compatibility for 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9 screen resolutions.
Features a built-in USB HID & USB 3.0 Hub
Rextron KVM USB Hub supports USB peripherals sharing without any software or driver installation. The Real-time USB HID ports give you an amazing seamless HID switching experience and the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port provide excellent 5 Gbps I/O speed. USB Hub is Mac, Linux, Chrome, and Windows 8 (or later version) supported.
Audio Function
A unique tracking system enables the Audio devices to be operated independently or concurrently. For example, Audio tracking function allows users to decide whether or not the audio switching follows the computer switching. It is useful for users to enjoy the wonderful music of another PC while working on the current computer.
Auto Scan & Manual Scan
To monitor the real-time computer status of each PC port, Rextron KVM switch supports Auto Scan function with selectable scan rate adjustment to automatically scan power-on computers sequentially at a fixed time interval, and also provides Manual Scan function, via keyboard clicking, to manually select the computer one after another.
PC Hibernation Mode
The flexible energy-saving setting allows the connected PCs to go into sleeping states or stay alert all the time. To enable or disable the energy-saving function, the KVM host port hibernation setting must match the operating system setting.
Port Lock Function (Host PC Port 2~Port 4)
The PC port lock function is dedicated and designed for privacy purposes; it allows host ports to be locked or unlocked and prevents the accidental access of the connected PCs.
Serial Control (RS-232 & Virtual Com)
Built-in RJ-11 serial interface (for DB9 to RJ11 cable) and USB-C Virtual Com port provide users easy and friendly KVM operation. KVM Switch’s built-in serial interface allows users to control the unit through a PC, serial controller devices or home theater system.
