XGM-S42, 4x2 FHD HDMI Matrix, allows users to switch between 4 HDMI sources and then delivers the selected video stream to 2 HDMI output devices (Monitor/ Projector). The “Auto-switching / input auto detecting” function always routes the last connecting stream (as first priority) to the output. You can select the desired input source(s) via the IR remote control or push buttons located on the switch.

EDID Auto Learning and EDID Copy functions allow the 4x2 FHD HDMI Matrix either to read the necessary EDID information from the unit itself or to copy EDID from the EDID compliant monitor, i.e., separately learning of Audio and Video EDID, which ensures that every video source is displayed at the optimal resolution and format without any compatibility issue.
4x2 FHD HDMI Matrix, XGM-S42 provides 4 extra modes for input source selection including Manual mode, Auto, Priority, and Matrix mode. The input sources selection can be carried out thru the slide switch on the rear panel:
- Switch mode: the input sources can be selected thru on-panel buttons, RS-232 serial or IR remote control.
- Auto mode: the last inserted source is automatically selected.
- Priority mode: Input source selected based on the priority level.
- Matrix mode: the input sources can be selected thru on-panel buttons, RS-232 serial or IR remote control.
XGM-S42, 4x2 FHD HDMI Matrix, supports various ways of control that can be done thru front-panel buttons, RS-232 serial or IR remote control. The RS-232 serial control, built-in RJ-11 serial interface, provides users easy and friendly operation. There’s also an IR sensor window at the front panel designed with great aesthetic and efficiency to quickly and accurately control this unit.
