Video Editing and Content Creation: HDMI/ SPDIF/ 3.5mm Audio and Audio Extracting / Audio Embedding
Audio Matrix switcher provides HDMI, SPDIF, and 3.5mm audio inputs that bring in multiple audio/video feeds supporting audio embedding and audio de-embedding functions. The audio embedding function embeds audio from a SPDIF or 3.5-mm analog stereo audio to an HDMI signal, while the audio de-embedding extracts the HDMI audio to a SPDIF or 3.5-mm stereo audio. These functions allow users to diversely incorporate the audio signal for more informative contents，such as video editing, by adding or subtracting the voiceover sound and background music。

Rextron 4K HDMI Audio Matrix switcher unique EDID configuration technology provides 1 auto and 63 EDID preset settings and supports monitors with 16:9, 21:9, and 32:9 aspect ratios. The design keeps unified and continuous video streaming ensuring a smooth video transition between content and prevents video flickering or black-screening issues.
Serial Control (RS-232 & Virtual Com)
Built-in RJ-11 serial interface (for DB9 to RJ11 cable) and USB-C Virtual Com port provide users easy and friendly Matrix operation. XQSCM-404 built-in serial interface allows users to control the unit through a PC, serial controller devices or home theater system. Function of switching via serial command on Rextron 4x4 4K HDMI Audio Matrix switcher is especially designed for industrial control and communication purposes to enhance the functionality of matrix switcher and serial devices management. Two RJ-11 jacks designed on the rear side of the matrix switcher provide the serial control under cascading structure for two units performing serial communication.
