The EXMS-M063 CAT6 HDMI Extender, which transmits signals via CAT6x, consists of a transmitter (host unit) and a receiver (device unit), allowing you to extend HDMI, audio, USB 2.0, infrared, and RS-232 signals over copper cable. The device can transmit 4K@60Hz HDMI video signals over distances of up to 150 meters (490 feet).

The EXMS-M063 is an HDMI extender based on Cat6 cabling that supports USB 2.0 extension. The receiver (Rx) unit features a total of four USB 2.0 ports—located on both the front and rear—accommodating both permanent setups and the convenient, temporary connection of USB peripherals. The CAT6 HDMI Extender is compatible with major operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, and Linux.

Infrared Extension

The IR extension function supports full frequency IR signal range from 38KHz up to 56KHz. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 1.4 meters IR cable can be purchased separately).

Serial Extension

Full-duplex data communication between Tx and Rx via CAT6 Cable connection is the cost effective, hardware-based solution, providing remote access and control for all RS-232 protocol devices without any setup or configuration. RS-232 serial extension is suitable to be applied in digital signage, industrial or commercial office, smart classroom, and smart Home system.

2-Way Audio with Unique Audio Embedding/ De-Embedding Function

This Cat6 HDMI extender features bidirectional audio extension, enabling the independent, two-way transmission of audio signals between the transmitter and the receiver. Audio embedder/ extractor function can independently transmit the audio signal from the Transmitter unit to the Receiver unit, embed audio from a 3.5-mm source to a HDMI signal or extract HDMI audio to a 3.5mm stereo audio, which provides the second audio transmission channel that would be beneficial for the content creator in video postproduction or audio broadcasting with the installation of home cinema amplifier.
