UENV-2108QD, 8 Ports Dual Console VGA KVM Switch, supports PS/2 and USB Keyboard/ Mouse, Internal Power with 110~240V AC, and One RJ-45 extension port. The local console enables users to access 8 computers directly, while the remote console allows users to remote control the 8 computers via Cat.5e/6 cable at 400M away via KVM extender Console Unit (purchased separately). VGA KVM switch designed with a built-in microprocessor which emulates keyboard and mouse presence on the computer cold booting.

Dual Console VGA KVM Switch supports Daisy chain function for the control of up to 64 computers, and provides flexible methods for PC switching such as push buttons, hotkeys, and on screen display.

Security management and auto-scan function enable users to lock the computers from the unauthorized access and filter the unused computer automatically or manually. Furthermore, UENV-2108QD supports video compensation (RGB Skew Corrector) that ensures the optima display on remote console.

UENV-2108QD is a pure hardware design, easy maintenance and DDC2B compatible, installed in 1U space 19” rack chassis and is ideal for server rooms, data centers, ISP or testing lab.

DDC (Display Data channel) is a collection of protocols for the digital communication between a computer display and a graphics card that enable the display to communicate its supported display modes to the graphics card and that enable the computer host to adjust monitor parameters, such as brightness and contrast. It aimed to provide plug and play characteristic to computer display.

DDC2B also called DDC2, is the most common version of DDC, allows bi-directional communication between host and display enables the graphics card to change display mode without reboot, and even enables host to read EDID even if the display is powered off.
