PIP PBP HDMI Extender Receiver, EVBM-K1027R, is an advanced video mixer with Scaler, PIP & PBP functions and extends the signals of HDMI, audio, Two-way IR, and PoH up to 35 meters (300ft) at 4K30Hz or 70 meters (330ft) at 1080p via a single category cable in a point-to-point configuration.
The HDMI and 3.5mm audio inputs bring in multiple audio/video feeds supporting audio embedding, audio extracting, and video mixing PIP/PBP screen layout. An integrated scaler ensures reliable 1080p output regardless of the input and the Auto EDID configuration function ensures the optimized resolution.
The HDMI output port on the PIP PBP HDMI Extender Receiver unit can present local video coming from the Rx or remote video coming from the Tx (purchased separately) and the switching can be simply achieved by button pressing. The auto EDID, PIP & PBP mixer, and scaler built-in allow users to simultaneously view two different streams on one screen with identical aspect ratio. Unique user friendly OSD menu can display the Input/ Output setting, PIP/ PBP setting, Power saving, and Audio/ System control.
EVBM-K1027R, PIP PBP HDMI Extender Receiver, provides comprehensive EDID management (Auto Learning and Copy modes) and Auto EQ adjustment (Sharpness) to ensure that the video source is displayed at the optimal resolution and format without any compatibility issue. Comprising a compact Transmitter (recommendable Transmitter models: Multi Format Switch EVBMC- 1471LA1, Multi Format Switch EVBMV-1371LA1, 3 ports HDMI Switch EVBM-1371L or the transmitter in under-desk version such as TBV-AUA0217, or wall plate EVBMC-A1371WL) and Receiver in pair, the system can be installed in minutes and requires no special programming.
Except for HDMI audio, the separate audio channels (3.5mm) provides a second audio transmission to send analog audio signal from the transmitter unit to the receiver unit, that is beneficial for the content creators in video postproduction, or in case of emergency situations for notifying users of the computer or server room operation issues, making possible the remote communication and coordination.
PIP PBP HDMI Extender Receiver EVBM-K1027R supports various ways of control that can be done thru front-panel buttons, RS-232 serial or IR remote control. The bi-directional IR extension function supports full frequency range from 38KHz up to 56KHz. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 3 meters IR cable can be purchased separately). There’s also an IR sensor window at the front panel designed with great aesthetic and efficiency to quickly and accurately control this unit. It is a unique feature often used in combination at home theater or the system integration application.

What is PIP/PBP function?
PIP or PBP is a function to integrate two different images in one display device, allowing users to watch two images at same time or to switch two images easily and quickly.
PIP (Picture in Picture) is a function to display the main video source on screen and the second video source on sub window.
PBP (Picture by Picture) is a function to place two input sources side by side on the screen.
EVBM-K1029R incorporates PIP and PBP with video extension function. Users can either transmit the video signal from Tx or send the video source from EVBM-K1029R to let two streams from different locations to be displayed on the screen.
