Application and utilization of DisplayPort Extender
Rextron 4K DisplayPort Extender ensures the high resolution output and can be easily and firmly connected, allowing users to extend the signal up to 100M@1080p or 70M@4K via a single category cable or 300M@4K over a single LC Duplex Multi-Mode fiber cable and even 500M@4K over a single LC Duplex Single-Mode fiber cabling. EDID Management
Rextron 4K DisplayPort/ Video Extender provide comprehensive EDID management, such as EDID Auto Learning, factory default and EDID Copy modes to ensure that every incoming video source is displayed at the optimal resolution and format without compatibility issue. It also enables users to copy or learn EDIDs automatically from the connected projectors or monitors via EDID button pressing. For users' convenience, the EDID Copy method can be achieved from either remote or local site.
Multi-Format Video Extender with Splitter, Switcher, or Switch Splitter functionality
Rextron Multi-Format Video Extender is designed with video inputs and outputs at both front and rear panels of the unit providing AV connectivity for most of the communication connection types the computer hookups needed, which includes HDMI, DP, VGA, Audio, USB, IR, and Serial. Housed in a compact form factor, the multi-format AV interfaces support intelligent AV switching and the video extension functions, and allow Desktops/ Laptops to be easily connected to the system making Rextron Video Extender the perfect addition to boardroom table.
Unique Video Auto-Switching function
The multi-format video Extender Transmitter allows users to switch between video sources which include HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA accompanying with analog stereo audio, and then delivers the selected video source to both local and remote sides. The “ input auto detecting” function always routes the last connecting source (as first priority) to the output.
