The Integra KVM Switch Module IUM-2108D can operate 8 computers by a single set of Keyboard/Monitor/Mouse efficiently managing computer in sever room where the space is at a premium. The management capability can be easily expanded up to 64 servers/computers through multiple KVM Switch Units cascading. The compatibility of USB and PS/2 PC connections increases the flexibility with existing devices selections.
Two-Access VGA USB KVM Switch, IUM-2108D contains a list of features you need for controlling computers or servers locally, which include hotkey control, computer selection, status indication, auto scan, and much more. For secured connection and space saving, all Integra KVM Switch Modules require just one HDB15 connector for each computer connection.
For Integra KVM Switch Module with built-in OSD control, you can name your computers, switch to a computer from a list, set with easy-to-use menus, and view the name of the selected computer on-screen with programmable time interval. The OSD displays the system status throughout operation. A computer may be selected by pressing the push button directly, by issuing hotkey commands or by activating the OSD window.
The KVM Switch Module in cascade ( Master / Slave ) Configuration
For applications with a large number of computers, VGA USB KVM Switch, IUM-2108D supports cascading architecture in a master/slave configuration to manage even more computers. You can connect a second level of one or more KVM Switch Modules to a Master unit. Cascade configuration expands system ability, allowing you to select computers connected to the Master or Slaves. There is only one Master that connects to the LCD Console directly operated by a user. Once connected, the KVM Switch Modules automatically configure themselves to either Master or Slave. Slaves of different KVM Switch Modules can be mixed in cascade configuration.
