EVBMN-1292X, HDMI Repeater with Ethernet Switch, combines the video switch and video splitter features with bi-directional IR extension, Serial extension (DB9), and IR remote control function and can transmit full uncompressed HDMI over CAT5e / 6 cable of up to 100 meters @1080p.

HDMI Repeater with Ethernet Switch, EVBMN-1292X, allows users to switch between 2 video sources (Local HDMI x1+ RJ45 x1) and then delivers the selected video stream to local (Repeater) and remote side (Rx).

HDMI repeater EVBMN-1292X provides comprehensive EDID management, such as EDID Auto Learning mode, factory default and Copy mode, learning Audio and Video EDID separately to ensure that every AV source is displayed at the optimal resolution and format without any compatibility issue. It also enables users to copy or learn EDIDs from the monitor(s) (Local or Remote side) via rear panel EDID button pressing.

HDMI repeater bi-directional IR extension function supports full frequency range from 38KHz up to 56KHz. Furthermore, the distance between the emitter head and the IR port on the unit may be extended to provide users a flexible and easy way in IR control system installation (maximum 3 meters IR cable can be purchased separately).

EVBMN-1292X Serial extension, the Full-Duplex data communication, can be selected thru the RS 232 slide switch at the rear panel of the unit for two-way communication between the Repeater device, the transmitter, and the receiver unit ( Tx -> Repeater -> Rx). The serial communication can be extended up to 70~100m via Receiver unit (depends on model) connected.

The LAN extra function of Rextron HDBaseT HDMI Video Extender, 100BaseT Ethernet Pass-Thru, simultaneously distributes Video and Ethernet streams among the connecting system of Transmitter and Receiver unit via a single CAT.x cable connection.
