VGM-S2108, 2x8 HDMI Video Switch Splitter, HDMI Switch with Splitter function supports IR remote and serial control, and allows users to switch between 2 HDMI sources and then delivers the selected video stream to 8 HDMI output device (Monitor/ Projector). The “Auto-switching / input auto detecting” function always routes the last connecting stream (as first priority) to the output. Dedicated Matrix mode supports 2-Bus function which can display 2 sources simultaneously. You can select the desired input source(s) via the IR remote control or push buttons located on the switch.

EDID Auto Learning and EDID Copy functions allow the HDMI Switch Splitter either to read the necessary EDID information from the unit itself or to copy EDID from the EDID compliant monitor, i.e., separately learning of Audio and Video EDID that ensures every video source is displayed at the optimal resolution and format without any compatibility issue.
2x8 HDMI Video Switch Splitter VGM-S2108 provides 4 extra modes for input source selection including Manual mode, Auto, Priority, and Matrix mode. The input sources selection can be carried out thru the slide switch on the rear panel:
• Switch mode: the input sources can be selected thru on-panel buttons, RS-232 serial or IR remote control.
• Auto mode: the last inserted source is automatically selected.
• Priority mode: Input source selected based on the priority level.
• Matrix mode: HDMI outputs are divided into two groups. Output Port 1-4 and Output Port 5-8, 2-Bus function can display 2 sources simultaneously.
VGM-S2108 HDMI Switch Splitter supports various ways of control that can be done thru front-panel buttons, RS-232 serial/GUI or IR remote control. The RS-232 serial control, built-in DB9 serial interface, provides users easy and friendly GUI operation. There’s also an IR sensor window at the front panel designed with great aesthetic and efficiency to quickly and accurately control this unit.
